🥾⛰️ BILD BEGINNERS HIKE! WHO’S UP FOR A LITTLE ADVENTURE? ☀️❤️ Fancy swapping the Dubai hustle and bustle for some fresh mountain air, stunning sea views and great company? 😍 We’re heading to Al Rabi Tower in beautiful Khorfakkan for a morning hike and we’d love you to join us! This is what BILD is all about… getting out, trying something different, meeting like-minded people and BILDing new friendships along the way! ❤️ Whether you’re coming on your own, with your partner or bringing a friend, everyone is welcome. You don’t need to be an experienced hiker, just reasonably fit and up for a bit of an adventure! 🥰 📅 Saturday 24th October 2026 📍 Al Rabi Tower, Khorfakkan ⏰ 7.30am SHARP, ready to start hiking! 🗺️ Meeting point: Al Rabi Tower car park 🥾 WHAT TO EXPECT ⛰️ Easy to moderate hike, suitable for reasonably fit beginners 👟 Approx. 5-6km round trip ⏱️ Around 2-3 hours including breaks and plenty of photo opportunities! 🌄 A steady uphill climb with some rocky paths, loose stones and steps, but rewarded with gorgeous mountain and sea views! ☀️ Very little shade, so come prepared. 🚗 COMING FROM DUBAI? Please allow approximately 1.5-2 hours for the drive each way, depending on where you’re coming from and traffic. Aim to leave Dubai around 5.30-6am so you’re at the meeting point by 7.30am, ready to start together! We expect to finish back at the car park around 10.30-11am, with an estimated return to Dubai around 12.30-1pm if heading straight home. 🎒 WHAT TO BRING 💧 At least 2 litres of water per person 🍌 Some snacks to keep you going 🧢 Sunscreen, sunglasses and a cap 🎒 A small backpack 📱 Fully charged phone 👟 WHAT TO WEAR Comfortable gym or hiking clothes and proper trainers with good grip, or hiking shoes if you have them. Bring a light layer if it’s cool in the morning. 🏖️ FANCY MAKING A DAY OF IT? Khorfakkan is such a lovely coastal town, so why rush back? Anyone who fancies staying longer can enjoy: ☕ Breakfast, coffee or brunch around Khorfakkan 🏖️ A swim or some downtime at Khorfakkan Beach 🌊 A visit to Khorfakkan Waterfall and Amphitheatre ⛰️ A trip to Al Suhub Rest House for those incredible panoramic views Pack your swimwear and a towel if you fancy a dip afterwards! ❤️ A LITTLE REMINDER The trail is quite exposed and it can still be warm in October, so we’ll keep a sensible pace, take breaks and make sure everyone stays hydrated. And remember, this isn’t a race or a fitness competition! It’s about getting outdoors, enjoying the beautiful UAE, having a laugh, meeting new people and making memories together.
